Do you intend to apply for a KOA licence?

The Netherlands Gambling Authority is intended to bring attention to the form for prospective licence holders of remote gambling services entitled Ik wil straks Koa-vergunninghouder worden [I would like to become a KOA licence holder].

Do you intend to apply for a KOA licence?

In order to design a proper licensing procedure for remote gambling services (kansspelen op afstand, KOA), the Netherlands Gambling Authority (Ksa) would like to know the number of potential applicants. You are therefore requested to complete the form entitled 'I would like to become a KOA licence holder' before 21 June 2019. Any parties who complete the form will be involved in the further design of the application process at an early stage.

As of yet, it is unknown when precisely applications can be made. The Ministry of Justice and Security is currently elaborating the Remote Gambling Act in subordinate legislation: a general administrative order and subsequently a ministerial regulation. As soon as this process has been finalised, the Ksa will be able to draft the licence conditions.

Go to the form entitled 'I would like to become a KOA licence holder in future'.
